Coaches comments: Our bad luck continues for another week as we came into the round with even more players added to the injures list, and the effects of a limited squad and many compositional changes being felt throughout both grades. This was going to be a tough round, especially against the biggest and most physical club in the division. Despite this, the boys buckled down for the afternoon and played for each other; a big improvement in support running and many critical tackles in open play. Ultimately, the boys from Kellyville were too good on the day and won both games. They exposed our weaknesses and we were just unable to settle and mount our own attacking platforms. Thankfully, there weren’t any serious injuries after this round, and with many boys coming back from injury in the coming weeks, I’m optimistic we’ll be able to rebound and strike back for the next round.
